Where is solaire in demon ruins

Sunlight Talisman. Orange Charred Ring. Lightning Spear. Great Heal. Sunlight Maggot. Sunlight Straight Sword. Sunlight Shield. Iron Helm. Armor of the Sun. Iron Bracelet. Iron Leggings. Ah, hello! You don't look Hollow, far from it! I am Solaire of Astora, an adherent of the Lord of Sunlight. Now that I am Undead, I have come to this great land, the birthplace of Lord Gwyn, to seek my very own sun!

Do you find that strange? Well, you should! No need to hide your reaction. I get that look all the time! The way I see it, our fates appear to be intertwined.

In a land brimming with Hollows, could that really be mere chance? So, what do you say? Why not help one another on this lonely journey? Well, yes, quite understandable. Not to worry. I do not wish to impose. I was in the wrong. We'll laugh it off, shall we?

Answering "Yes" to second question. This pleases me greatly! Well then, take this. We are amidst strange beings, in a strange land.

The flow of time itself is convoluted; with heroes centuries old phasing in and out. The very fabric wavers, and relations shift and obscure. There's no telling how much longer your world and mine will remain in contact. But, use this, to summon one another as spirits, cross the gaps between the worlds, and engage in jolly co-operation! Of course, we are not the only ones engaged in this. But I am a warrior of the sun!

Spot my summon signature easily by its brilliant aura. After the Centipede Demon boss fight, Solaire can be found in Demon Ruins, sitting near the bonfire after the boss room. Solaire of Astora is a character in Dark Souls.

As soon as it starts summoning, jump off the back of the platform and move to the end of the hall opposite the boss fog. You may increase your potency with it by giving the Daughter of Chaos points of Humanity. The shortcut is NOT the wall at the end of the hall past the bonfire. Okay, let's be honest; there's no need to introduce the most popular character in all of Dark Souls. We've all seen, and subsequently gotten tired of, the praise the sun memes by now, but how many people have actually managed to follow Solaire's questline all the way to the end?

Or, rather, how many people have managed to figure out how to get his good ending? Considering how complex and precise you need to be to do it, we doubt many have. If you really do want to engage in some jolly co-operation with everyone's favorite sun bro, here's a step by step guide on Solaire's questline.

For a world that wants nothing more than to kill the Chosen Undead, Solaire juxtaposes the world with his friendliness and noble mission. At least, he does until he becomes Hollow. If you want to save this friendly NPC, you'll need to go out of your way to save Solaire.

We've updated this guide with new images and subsections to make Solaire's quest much easier to understand and finish. We start out by simply meeting Solaire. If you somehow haven't come across him yourself, or been otherwise told, Solaire can be found standing on a balcony in the Undead Burg right after beating the Taurus Demon boss. Slay the Taurus Demon, descend the tower that leads to a bridge, then head to the balcony on your right. If you try to cross a bridge and get cooked by a dragon, you went the wrong way.

Exhaust Solaire's dialogue, agree to assist him on his journey, and get the White Sign Soapstone item. After your first encounter with Solaire, you can encounter the jolly knight at four other locations:.

He's a fan favorite who has become a meme for the ages, but Dark Souls players aren't the only ones who love him. The first step to saving Solaire is pretty simple: you have to find him and get his questline going. You'll first meet Solaire in the Undead Burg, which is the first real area of the game after the tutorial zone, the Undead Asylum. Progressing Solaire's questline without deviating to make some important choices will lead to him eventually going insane. In order to save him the most straightforward way which isn't really straightforward at all , you'll have to find and join the Chaos Servant Covenant.

Once you're a Chaos Servant, you will be on track to unlock the path necessary to saving Solaire. As you progress through the game, you can summon Solaire for a number of boss battles.

You should! He's a great meat shield, but don't let him die. Eventually, you'll find him again as a normal NPC. After speaking to Solair in Anor Londo, he will move to his next location and you will be able to progress his questline. In order to be able to save Solaire the way the game arguably intended, you will have to rank up in the Chaos Servant Covenant. This opens up a crucial pathway to ultimately saving Solaire. Here is where it gets complicated.
