Where is neji in naruto shippuden

Due to him not being on the screen as often as one would've liked, there are lots of things that often go unnoticed about him. After the Land of Waves arc of Naruto wrapped up, the Genin from not only Konohagakure but the entire shinobi world started gathering to prepare for the Chunin Exams and one of them was Team Guy's genius ninja, Neji Hyuga. Neji made his debut in the fourth volume of the Naruto manga and the 36th chapter of the story.

In the anime, he appeared in Episode 21 for the very first time. The Genin who take part in the Chunin exams are usually allowed to gain a certain level of experience first. Might Guy's students only took part in them after a year of working as Genin. However, Kakashi Hatake's ninja, along with most of the other Jonin's teams, took part in the exams right after becoming Genin. Thus, Neji was a year older than the rest and took part in the exams when he was around years of age.

Naruto Uzumaki was around years of age during this time. Being born into the Hyuga family, Neji had access to the power of the Kekkei Genkai Dojutsu known as Byakugan right from birth. It also allowed him to see the chakra points of those fighting against him, along with the rest of the chakra circulatory system.

Neji could also tell if someone was under the influence of a Genjutsu. Neji Hyuga didn't just rely on his powers of the Byakugan. To take the gift that he had to the next level, he learned the art of Gentle Fist that let him damage the chakra pathway system without leaving any external wounds.

Naruto did his best to keep Neji alive, but the latter had accepted his fate and passed away whilst Hinata cried over him. If you have wondered why Neji was killed off, you are not the only one. Luckily, the creator of Naruto has explained why he felt the death was necessary. In an interview published shortly before the release of The Last: Naruto the Movie, Masashi Kishimoto explained that Neji's death was a tool he used to bring Hinata closer to Naruto.

In fact, Kishimoto explained that he had chose to make Hinata a leading heroine in Naruto awhile back, and Neji's death helped bring her closer to Naruto.

Hinata may have stood up to the likes of Pain in the past, but her decision to protect Naruto against the Ten-Tails yet again proved his love.

But, instead of having her die from the choice, Kishimoto felt like Neji was a good substitute. He appeared in five of the eleven movies made in the franchise. In the latter, Neji was actually the team leader for Naruto, Sakura, and Lee on a mission to protect a priestess. He completed 62 total according to the data books. He completed 26 of the easiest type of mission, D-Rank, 19 of the more difficult C-Rank, four B-Rank, and 11 of the missions typically for jonin, A-Rank.

Neji also, unlike a lot of the other members of the Konoha 11, completed two missions considered S-Rank, those reserved for the most elite of shinobi. One of those was likely completed with his teammates since Tenten and Lee both have a single S-Rank mission in their stats as well. This particular form focuses on internal work and focusing the chi, but it does it by twisting and spinning the body.

When Boruto and Sasuke traveled through time, Boruto got to meet his uncle as a teenager, but the franchise honored Neji long before they interacted. Amanda is a freelance writer in Florida.
